Man’s Hour of Darkness is God’s Hour of Power
The hour of God's power manifests at the end of man's resources. God is pleased to wait until all striving and human effort cease and your situation calls for nothing less than a miracle. God knows the day and the exact hour that He will intervene. In the midst of these dark seasons while we are waiting for Him to act trust that the Holy Spirit is standing by ready to take action. God is calling His people to abandon themselves to prayer and praise, believing that He is still on the Throne and He is in control! In the day of darkness Jesus Christ is still the light of the world!
The Secret to Strength in Perilous Times
When the world seems to be shaking, there will arise a people who know how to maintain their strength in the midst of it all. These are people who draw near to the Lord in times of crisis.
According to Scripture, it won’t matter to these people if the moon and stars fall from the sky, or if the mountains quake and fall into the sea. They will still have faith in the Lord to save them, and they will not have their faith shaken by anything that comes.
In Psalm 31, David introduces a phrase to God’s people: “the secret of thy presence.” David writes:

Dearly Beloved:
I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU ABOUT THE DAY JESUS TOOK YOUR PLACE.
Paul writes, “Walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor” (Ephesians 5:2, my italics). Here is one of the greatest promises in God’s Word: “Christ, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Raised From the Dead
As Christians we believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. After the Lord’s crucifixion, the Holy Spirit entered the tomb where he lay and raised him up. This is why we sing on Easter that Christ rose from the grave, victorious over his foes, and now reigns forever with the saints.

Dearly Beloved:
GOD’S LOVE PREPARES HIS SERVANTS FOR UPHEAVAL AND CHANGE.
This is the message at the heart of Psalm 46. The Psalmist begins by telling us what God is to his people: a refuge, a strength, a present help in trouble.
It's Time to Get Right with God
Today is a day of mercy and grace. God is gently calling out to those who are backslidden, those who have grown cold and those who need to make things right with God. The first call of Jesus is of love and forgiveness. The second call is, "You make a move"! The Bible says, "today if you hear His voice harden not your heart." Jesus is coming soon, so get up and shake yourself form the dirt and when you rise up the shackles of captivity and sin will fall off!
Hope — The Expectation of Something Good
We hear a lot about hope — from politicians, from numerous books, from tapes and other media. But what is offered in each of these messages doesn’t seem to last.
We may get fired up and encouraged by what we hear in such messages. Indeed, we may find ourselves refreshed and hopeful for a season. But what is offered isn’t a fixed, experienced hope, and soon it fades away.
The whole world yearns for a steadfast hope. The inner cry of multitudes around the globe right now is, “Somebody, somewhere, please, give me some hope, something that will last.”

THE LORD’S COMPASSION NEVER FAILS!
What is the Lord’s word of hope in these troubled times? It is this: The Lord’s compassion for his people never fails. Whatever you are going through, no matter what lies ahead, the Lord is full of compassion for you. Never doubt that.
“But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth” (Psalm 86:15).
Compassion here means “to hold, to love, to show mercy.”
Loving the Lost
There is much talk right now about the fearful situation our world is in. Nation after nation is troubled, on the brink of economic disaster. Yet amid all the fear and turmoil gripping the world, God is still loving and saving lost souls.
His marvelous work of salvation never changes. It isn’t affected by the economy. His wooing, convicting Holy Spirit isn’t hindered by conditions on Wall Street or by teetering global finances. God’s saving power has never been limited by shrinking bank accounts.
